The abstract oils in this collection were part of my Masters Graduate Show at the Bliss Hall Gallery at Youngstown State University in 2010. The theme of the show was "What Remains." Depiction of close ups of deteriorated buildings was the vehicle used to reveal a dark time in my life. Both destruction and beauty permeate each painting telling of times of great despair and triumph.
